Seniors get a glimpse of graduation with cap and gown delivery

Seniors received their cap and gowns in the cafeteria and gym foyer on Mon., April 8, during One Lunch, but they can also pick them up Tuesday or Wednesday during One Lunch or during Advisory Block on Wednesday.
The items are provided by Jostens, the school’s longtime partner for memorabilia and archives, like yearbooks, class rings, hoodies and more.
“Jostens has been a partner with Ocean Lakes for all 25 years of our school history,” said student activities coordinator John Williams.
Class of 2019 plans to graduate Sat., June 15, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
“I feel like it’s finally starting to hit me that a major chapter of my life is coming to an end in two months,” said senior Dylan Whitt.
