“My whole family has been very musical since I was born. My dad plays the drums and first

began teaching me to play when I was in diapers. I played drums for five years, but eventually

they weren’t my thing anymore. I started playing the piano for about three years and still play a

little. I played saxophone through middle school, but I currently am playing the guitar, and have

been for the past two years. Playing the guitar relieves my stress and is soothing. It is different

from all the other instruments I’ve played in the past and was challenging to learn. I love how

there are so many things I can do with the guitar to make any sound I want.”
