For senior night, girls and boys volleyball both defeated Tallwood in straight sets on Oct. 15.
Girls swept the Lions with final scores of 25-10, 25-11, and 25-8. Senior Haven McPeek led the team with 10 kills. The boys team also secured a victory with set scores of 25-7, 25-20, and 25-23.
Eleven seniors were recognized in a ceremony that involved refreshments prior to the games. The four senior girls were given tiaras to wear.
“Walking into the gym was amazing, and I was excited for the game,” said Haven. “The celebratory setup really got me pumped for the game.”
They will travel to Landstown for their next game on Oct. 17.
