Varsity field hockey beat Bayside 2-0 on senior night. Goals were scored by senior Kaitlyn McMahon and junior Natalie Hampton. The underclassman raised their field hockey sticks in celebration as the seniors ran by for their last home game on Oct. 17.

“I learn from them, and they show me how to play better on the field,” said freshman Abigail Ferracci.

The field hockey team will now enter postseason, with their first regional playoff game on Oct. 30.

“We had a great senior class with amazing leadership,” said coach Kristen Vick. “I’m excited to build a foundation here at Ocean Lakes.”
