Angel Tree offers a chance to give

SCA collaborated with City-Wide SCA to sponsor this year’s Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Project, a clothing and gift drive held to collect for children of needy families in Hampton Roads.
“They ask each of the high school SCAs to participate and ask us how many tags we want to do; we usually get 50,” said assistant activities director Carlin Conaway.
Ocean Lakes successfully bought gifts for those 50 tags in total for the Angel Tree this year. Donations came from individuals and from clubs.
“It’s a great service opportunity to help out those less fortunate,” said Conaway.
