New year, same goal. Football conditioning is officially back on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:45 p.m.

The football team stays after school to lift weights and train for the upcoming season. The workouts are mainly run by coaches Joe Jones and Chris Ramey and assisted by other coaches who stay after school or commute from other jobs. Any student who is willing to put in the time and effort is welcome to join the workouts.

“The off-season is really where we build as a team. The amount of hours we spend in the weight room together sweating it out to be stronger and faster is insane. The amount of guys we have daily is awesome,” said junior Dawson Cox. “To see this many people interested in playing football at Ocean Lakes is amazing. Seeing us grow in the weight room is truly something special.”
