Current chapter of National Honor Society offers a new opportunity for students to get extra help with school work. NHS recently established virtual tutoring sessions for all courses available at Ocean Lakes.

“Peer tutoring has been amazing for the students on online learning because it allows students to have one-on-one conversations with people they may have never met before. Not only can they get assistance with homework, but can create new friendships,” said committee chair Taylor Roomsburg.

Students are encouraged to join the Schoology group to reach out, and the access code is KNJJC-WK6VG. The sessions are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3-4 p.m. 

Additional tutoring sessions can also be scheduled.
