Spirit wear can now be purchased online for students and staff. The merchandise ranges from apparel such as hoodies, T-shirts, long sleeves, polos, and sweatpants, to accessories like backpacks, hats, and masks. 

“We just wanted an opportunity for our staff, students, and parents to be able to buy spirit wear,” said Assistant Principal Leah Nelson.

Thirteen students have already pre-ordered merchandise. All orders must be placed by Jan. 31, and will be delivered about three to four weeks after Jan. 10.

“I ordered a hoodie,” said senior Kaylee Scutt. “I got it because I believe showing school spirit is important, and I absolutely love our school. It’s like a second home to me.”

School merchandise showcases staff and student’s pride in going to Ocean Lakes despite not physically attending the school.

“I definitely think more students should get spirit wear because it will foster school unity and promote school spirit,” said sophomore Gracie Tignor.
