The annual “eerie cheery” orchestra concert, held on Oct. 26, revealed hard work and passion.

“I think we sounded great,” said bass player Rachel Hart, “especially considering the number of people in our orchestra. I loved the opening piece and closing piece and how it was cheery, but still [provided] an eerie feel in the middle.”

With Halloween approaching, the orchestra’s theme fit well.

“Last night, everyone came together to create something really special,” said viola player Calvin Cummings. “I’m really looking forward to seeing where we’ll go in the future.”

The next orchestra concert will be held on December 12.
