Star Wars: The Bad Batch debuted on Jan. 4, 2023, and promises more for fans than the first season. This season the director of the show, Dave Filoni, promised to elaborate and focus more on the story than filler episodes like in the first season. In this season he delivered.

“I think this season the show will focus more on the group bonding with Omega, but I also feel like a major character will die this season which I am not looking forward to,” said senior Matthew Johnson.

The second season takes place months after where the first season left off, showing the struggles of the rogue clone troopers that escaped the Empire’s fist. During this season, the show also expands on the character Crosshair and Hunter. Crosshair with his loyalties, and Hunter with his relationship with Omega, a female clone trooper.

“I like Hunter’s character because he wants to bond with Omega and truly wants the team to unite again,” said junior Emma Cruise.

The second season is expected to finish on March 29, 2023, so Star Wars fans still have many things waiting for them. Dave Filoni has many events planned for the season including answering questions on the time frame between Star Wars shows and movies.

“I really like the show because it gives us more details on the events after Star Wars’ third movie, Revenge of The Sith, and it also just expands on the clone’s lives in general,” said freshman Mia Fruit.
