Indoor Percussion jolts into action as they put on a show for parents before their first competition.

Their theme bases itself on the painting, ‘Relativity,’ by M.C. Escher, and the notion of getting lost and yet finding yourself. The group hosted an open parent night, where anyone could come see the show before they take it to competition.

“It’s very exciting,” said senior percussionist Matthew Sheehy. “It demonstrates great Ocean Lakes etiquette.”

The performance group faces their first competition at Grassfield High School on Feb. 11, 2023. With only nine minutes to set up, “The Void,” they will perform at 4:59 p.m.  The group also features two visual solos, sophomores Chiyo Dean and Ava Sharp.

“It’s got such pizazz,” said Matthew. “It means so much to have this as my last show.”
