Taylor Swift’s 52-date tour continues to take the nation by surprise. Each show consists of 46 songs and 10 sets that each represent one of her albums.
Fans of all ages around the country prepare for the shows in many different ways. From guessing songs to preparing unique outfits, fans have thought of every way to get ready to see their favorite artist perform.
“I am mostly excited to see if my opening and closing song guesses are correct,” said English teacher and “Swiftie” Hollyanne Chesnut.
Tickets for all upcoming shows are sold out from Ticketmaster, the website used to buy tickets for the tour. Pre-sale for tickets began on Nov. 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. and sold out almost immediately, with the whole website crashing. About 2.4 million tickets were sold, which broke the record for most tickets sold by an artist in one day. Although the shows do not take place in every state, people from all over are traveling to see Taylor perform.
“I’m going to the show on May 12 in Philadelphia,” said sophomore Lily Bond.
