What do you enjoy about newspaper staff?

“I love how everyone motivates each other to do better and contribute,” said Austin. “No one ever opts for the bare minimum and it helps cultivate a really good environment.”

Future plans?

“I’m not 100% certain right now, but I’d like to major in political science in college,” said Austin. 

Favorite song?

“My favorite song right now is probably ‘Undercover Martyn’ by Two Door Cinema Club,” said Austin. 

Favorite article?

“My favorite article is “Alumni highlight benefits of military service.” It was really interesting hearing the perspectives of those who serve, and I feel like writing it definitely increased my skills as a journalist,” said Austin.
