Over 350 juniors attended Ring Dance at the Westin from 7-11 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
This year’s theme showcased the Enchanted Forest.
“It went really well,” said Class of 2025 President Tucker Gates. “I loved how the decorations turned out and everyone got to enjoy their night.”
The event included a variety of self-serve food and drinks, such as create-your-own nachos, corn dogs, fried chicken, stuffed peppers, spring rolls, cookies, cupcakes and complimentary soda. A photo booth was also included to take free pictures of attendees.
“The cookies were really good, but the buttercream cupcakes just tasted like butter and salt,” said junior Gabriel Bell. “The photo booth was a major improvement and much better than the one from homecoming, and I’ve got them in my room right now.”
The dance encouraged social gatherings and partying, which provided an unforgettable experience.
“Overall I spent more time with people I usually don’t hang out with,” said Gabriel. “I floated between friend groups and met a lot of interesting people.”
