Congratulations to our January Reporter of the Month, Raizel Dino!

♥︎ What was your favorite article that you’ve written?
“My favorite article was definitely ‘Christina Barnhart, permanent substitue to OLHS Teacher of the Year,’” Raizel said. “Writing this article made me realize that everyone has a story to tell, and it’s worth listening to each one.”

♥︎ If you were a drink, what would you be and why?
“Maybe an espresso. I can be serious at times, but otherwise, I am energetic!”

♥︎ What is your favorite song?
“‘Goodnight and Go’ by Imogen Heap is a classic that I will always go back to,” Raizel said.

♥︎ What do you want to do after high school?
“I want to continue my studies and eventually go to law school to become a defense attorney,” Raizel said.

♥︎ Why are you passionate about journalism?
“Being able to use the power of a pen to tell someone’s story or bring awareness to a current topic is what makes it so beautiful,” Raizel said. “Your words are helping others in some way, shape or form which I think is very beautiful.”
