Chamber received a perfect score of superior for assessment, a musical evaluation for all schools, which all orchestras attend at Cox high school.
“During assessment we spent 30 minutes in a warm up room tuning our instruments, which really was the key to an amazing performance. Afterwards it was time to perform in front of three judges. During the performance every musician was silent to concentrate on the pieces,” said Emilie Greer, a viola.
Chamber orchestra performed the pieces Divertimento in D major by Mozart and Hoe Down by Aaron Copland in front of a panel of three judges.
“It took all of our focus and concentration, and in the end we were awarded with straight ones,” said Emilie.
