Student2Student club, a military-connected group, volunteered at an event held at Lynnhaven Mall to honor the month of the military child.

The show displays public school students’ art, depicting life in a military family.

“We hand out certificates to the kids who have artwork in the show,” said senior Mickinley Plyman.

President of S2S Mickinley Plyman and sponsor Karen Sawyer led members at the event in their third year volunteering.

“It is a great experience to see all the people who have contributed artwork and see how proud they get,” said Plyman. “I also really like that it honors the military.”
