​AP English teacher Alexis Jones’ Literature and Composition students prepared for upcoming AP exams by conducting “speed dating” conversations during class.

Using prompts from past years’ exams, students brainstormed two and a half minute responses, using books that best answered each prompt.

The students would switch to receive a variety of prompts to prepare them for their exam.
