Tryouts for “The Laramie Project” mark Ocean Lakes Theater Company’s first program of the new school year. Students from all grade levels made their way into the auditorium to practice  different scenes with various groups of the aspiring actors.

The theater student executive board answered questions, led warm-ups, and acted as guides throughout the audition process. Whenever a group would go into theater room to audition in front of the directors, students sent them off with the well known phrase “break a leg,” said one actor.

The cast list for “The Laramie Project” has been posted outside theater teacher Claude Blanchard’s door, room 108.
