JV field hockey shares optimism for fall season
September 24, 2018
Despite the JV field hockey’s loss Thursday against First Colonial, the team has much to look forward too in terms of playing as a team.
Several players showed spirit, said the team’s coach, when referring to Diana Clemons and Anita Farashahi.
This week the team had three games in a row, leaving them with a 1-2 record. They won against Granby, lost against Kellam, and lost 0-5 against First Colonial this past Thursday.
According to defensive player Desiray Martinez, other players show promise like sophomores Kelly McCarty and Rachel Rubel. She also said the team looks forward to improving their performance and preparing for their next game, scheduled for Sept. 25 against Tallwood.
