One senior went home with a $1,000 scholarship after the ACCESS presentation on Monday, Sept. 24.

At the conclusion of the presentation, students were told to complete a survey that discusses the ACCESS program and its effect at local schools. The surveys were collected by adviser Amy Hall and used as a raffle, then drawn out of a bucket to find out the winner.

Academy student Max Lichtenstein was the winner of the scholarship, and according to Lichtenstein, he hopes to use it at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for his tuition.
