Students from all over Virginia came together to create this year’s District Chorus. Twenty-nine students from Ocean Lakes participated in the performance at Tallwood High School.

“Being in district chorus has allowed me to have new experiences,” said senior Eva-Rose Munoz. “I get to sing in choir full of very talented musicians and meet new people along the way.”

The students left school early on Feb. 8 to practice for the concert the following day.

“My favorite part of being in district chorus is singing in different languages and listening to the beautiful harmonies made by the choir,” said Eva-Rose.

Some students auditioned for States, and senior Clayton Saville made Bass 2 Alternative for All-Va Chorus.
