Over 70 attend new Cornhole Club meeting
April 2, 2019
MSA student Ally Zongolowicz decided it was time for a new club, the Cornhole Club. Now that it has become a reality, students are captivated.
“Our main goal of corn hole club is to provide a safe place where people can get to know new people while enjoying a fun sport anyone can play,” said Ally.
Word spreads fast about the sensation.
“We were super excited about the turn out of our first meeting; we had around 70 people stop by,” said Ally.
The first official meeting was held Feb. 21 with more than 70 people on the sign-in sheet.
“We plan to organize some kind of tournament or fundraiser to donate money to charity; that is yet to be decided,” said Ally.
Next interest meeting will be held March 22 in room 206 during the first half of lunch. To keep up with upcoming events, interested students can follow their Instagram @olhscornholeclub.
