The newly formed Model United Nations Club recently held its first conference stimulation. The club is designed to show what it would be like to in a diplomacy, and the students typically role play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees.

“The conference was really fun,” said Reena Assassa, Model UN Vice President. “A bit informal, but fun. We are still growing as a club and I’m just glad we got some practice in preparation for real conferences next year.”

The conference took place in sponsor Bob Weisenbeck’s classroom, room 140, on Thursday, May 30.

“I think this program will provide students with a valuable experience and show them what the UN is really like,” said Weisenbeck.
