During the week of July 22-25, varsity girls soccer coach, Christine Thornton, kicked off her annual kids soccer summer camp.

During the evening, a co-ed camp was held for players ranging in age from three to 14 in age, and it cost campers $100 to attend. Cost included a dolphin soccer t-shirt.

With the help of student volunteers, coach Thornton aimed to sharpen skills with daily drills and games. She said they also hoped to have a little fun in the process.

“It’s amazing because we enjoy coaching kids as much as they enjoy learning from role models that are playing in the high school level,” said Thornton.
