This year’s National Honor Society chapter held a local cleanup at Ocean Lakes East Park on Friday, Sept. 20. About 25 people attended, picking up litter while also partaking in some playground fun.

“The cleanup was an absolute success,” said president and senior Deni Dimitrova. “With this being our first cleanup for NHS class of 2020, we didn’t know what to expect, so we were grateful to get a lot of help. I hope the volunteer turnout stays consistent as the school year continues.”
