Anna Keck, Staff Writer

Anna Keck is a first-year journalism and staff writer for The Current. She is in the Math and Science Academy and a part of the Class of 2027 Executive Board. She participates in the Future Health Professionals Club, Biology Club, and Chemistry Club. She also is on the Biology Olympiad and debate teams at Ocean Lakes. Outside of school, she likes to paint, analyze novels and spend time with her friends. Anna is interested in the health sciences and hopes to become an ophthalmologist in the future.

Senior Rockwell Li presents his project at the International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications in 2023. His project about a Scanning Tunneling Microscope was created to improve resolution based on a sister-model microscope, the atomic force microscope. By incorporating Gaussian mixture localization through a neural network Rockwell improved the ability of the microscope to create a clear representation of molecules.
