Maya Phillips is a sophomore, first-year journalist and member of the social media team for The Current. For hobbies, she loves playing volleyball, spending time with friends and family, video games, the beach, watching movies, and appreciating nature through hiking. Maya has been playing volleyball since she was nine years old and currently plays for a travel club team. After high school, she hopes to attend college at Virginia Tech.
