Poppy Purton is a sophomore and a first-year journalist for The Current. She is in the Math and Science Academy and a part of the Student Cooperative Association and a junior captain on the step team. She is an animal lover who spends her time volunteering at shelters, hanging out with friends, and photographing nature. In the future, Poppy aspires to pursue a career in the medical field.
