The Dolphins celebrate defeating the Bayside Marlins to finish their undefeated season.

JV football defeated the Bayside Marlins 24-12 at home on Thursday, Oct. 24th to finish their season with a perfect 5-0 record.

“Words cannot describe how I am feeling after completing the perfect season. I love my guys,” said coach Mike Alston.

The Dolphins were initially led by sophomore quarterback Landon Spell who shattered a growth plate in the opening game of the season. Freshman Nate Jarvis stepped into the role with minimal quarterback reps under his belt and managed to lead an offense that averaged 23.2 points a game while the defense allowed 7.8 points per game.

“We finished undefeated, and we worked hard for every game,” said junior Steffon Wilson.

The Dolphins are led by coaches Mike Alston, Gary Felton, Ashton Thoroughgood and DJ Dinsmoor.
