Karen Simmons’ culinary classes prepared chicken sauté on Nov. 20.
Culinary students followed the given recipe with the ingredients rice, chicken, garlic, celery, carrots, green onion, soy sauce and ginger. In the course, students will learn topics related to healthy living, foods and nutrition, clothing and housing.
“I just thought it would be fun learning how to make fancier foods like chicken stir fry,” said junior Ethan Wentworth. “We just followed the recipe. It took us 45 minutes to cook.”
