Gymnastics performed at the winter sports assembly for the first time ever.

The performance consisted of floor, balance beam, and bars, and the girls got to pick what skills they wanted to showcase.

Gymnastics has never been a part of the assembly before.

According to coach Jen Ramey, some of the members on the team asked if they could perform at the assembly. “which of course, I said ‘Yes!’  The team worked through the logisitics together and made their first debut on Dec. 18 in the gym.

“I think the students and staff reacted great to the performance. So many people have come up to us and said how amazing of a performance it was. It was nice to do something exciting and different compared to what we normally see at the assemblies,” said senior gymnast, Anna Harmon.
