The 2020 PTSA Reflections Contest winners were announced on Nov. 21 for the theme “I Matter Because…”

In the Photography category, Caroline Camden placed first and third with two separate entries and Alex Talreja placed second. In the literature category, Isuru Gunawardena placed first. In visual arts, Justine Arenas placed first, Taylor Roomsburg placed second, and Taylor Murrell placed third. In the music composition category, Alex Talreja placed first.

“I would like to say congratulations to all the winners and participants of this year’s reflections program. I was nervous there wouldn’t be any participation due to COVID-19 and the distance learning. However, I think the PTSA did a great job pushing the announcements … We had submissions in four of the six different categories,” said PTSA Reflections Chair Amy Ridgway.
