Staff receives new technology
All 135 teachers at Ocean Lakes received new laptops throughout the month of January.
The goal to distribute all computers by Jan. 25, fell short as “[eight] more teachers need to pick up their laptops,” shared Rome Meija, Interim Technology Support Technician. “[I hope] that these new laptops are a big improvement compared to the old ones.”
According to principal Dr. Claire LeBlanc, the school division decided to replace laptops to all instructional staff.
“We are trying to make the distribution and transition process as seamless as possible,” said LeBlanc.
