With summer break coming to an end, it would be hard to forget the hot summer days. In Virginia Beach alone, the average high for July was around 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
“I didn’t really want to do much running or any physical activity without some water nearby because it was just too hot out,” said senior Caleb Tomberlin.
Across the country, the heat affected outdoor activities for the young and old.
“At my tournament in Greensboro, we had to play on grass and have water breaks due to excessive heat warnings,” said senior Dylan Tamayo.
