Students, teachers and staff invite incoming freshmen with open arms.

On August 16, 2023, the Class of 2027 arrived at Ocean Lakes for the new student orientation. Staff and SCA members greeted them as they split into groups.

Throughout the day, new students toured the school, learned about different clubs and sports, received Chromebooks and T-shirts and met teachers and students from all grades.

Students participated in games with their new classmates and were introduced to the dolphin community. SCA members in each group helped to answer any questions they had, and showed new students the dolphin way.

“Everyone was so nice and helpful with every question I had, and showed how close the OL community is together,” said freshman Addison Duprey.
