Advisory blocks tailor to student needs
On Wednesday, Nov. 15, all students met with their advisory blocks.
Seniors attended a presentation from Jostens about graduation in the auditorium to discuss how and when to order cap and gown, and other important senior apparel.
Measuring and order dates are Nov. 20, 21, and 28 during lunch or Nov. 20 at night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Seniors still have the opportunity to order class rings.
The juniors, sophomores, and freshmen received course request forms for next year, watched a short video, and discussed mindfulness to alleviate stress. To practice mindfulness, students learned how to trace their hand with fingers and relax with intentional breathing.
Per student request, to alleviate stress, advisory block teacher Fara Wiles wrapped up her advisory block by playing holiday music while the students harmonized along with Michael Buble.
