The Theatre Company held their thirteenth annual talent show last Saturday, March 10, and students danced and sang the night away. Economics teacher Charles Brown opened the show by singing the National Anthem, and most of the acts that followed involved music.

“My favorite performance was Carson Harrell. He was very soulful,” said junior Rachel Pelton. Carson performed twice during the show.

The last act of the night was a powerful performance of The Confrontation from Les Mis by faculty members Jim Cartwright and Patrick Rostock.

Finally, all participants returned to the stage for the “Celebration Finale” where all danced to  Celebration, by Kool and the Gang.

Participants included Sarah Hester, Tyler Sembera, Benjamin Angeles, Jackie Arthur, Hailey Dunagan, Angie Slater, Ammanubia Lawrence, Jackie Chao, Angelina Estrada, Madi MacDonald, Hannah Petty, Joshua Esposo, Azaylee Guzman, Autumn Ibanez, Cami Miller, Makayla Bond, Sage Maxey, Desirey Martinez, Carson Harrell, and Tristan Walker. Other performances included the Dance Team, Acapalla Club, A Splash of Color, and Bad to the Bone. Other faculty members who volunteered efforts include Gerri-Lynn Ewald and  Claude Blanchard.
