Student receives Dynamic Dolphin award during assembly

Angelo Shaw was one of four students who received the Dynamic Dolphin award during the scholarship and awards assembly on Friday, June 8. The Dynamic Dolphin award is given to students who show school involvement, strong character, academic achievement, and school spirit.
Biology teachers Jeremy Schratwieser and Renee Jackson nominated Angelo for the award for his hard work and dedication to making the day “bright” for those around him. He manages the boys basketball team, runs the coffee cart and Brew Ha Ha coffee shop, takes part in science club, and helps with S2S.
Angelo received a standing ovation from the student body at the ceremony.
