In honor of breast cancer awareness month, students and staff wore their best pinks this past Friday.

October serves as breast cancer awareness month in order to showcase efforts and charities that help with cancer research.

Originally, the ‘pink out’ was scheduled during homecoming week, but because school was cancelled due to Hurricane Michael, staff rescheduled the day to the following Friday.

“I wear pink, so that when people see it they’re reminded to donate and care about breast cancer research,” said senior Rachelle Jacob.
