Once again, AVID students sold Krispy Kreme donuts to raise money to help pay for their college visits and other AVID initiatives.

“It helps pay for the charter buses for the universities that AVID students visit. Next, we will be going to Virginia Tech and Radford University,” said AVID coordinator Michelle McAfee.

Recently, they took a field trip to see both Howard and George Mason University.

Senior Malik Thomas bought three boxes of donuts to share with his classes.

“It’s nice being able to give food to my classmates while also paying money towards a good cause,” said Malik.
