Boys swim team take Beach District title
After an undefeated season, the boys swim and dive team placed first at the Beach District Championship.
Highlights of the meet include junior Kendall Ewing taking first place in the 100m breaststroke and sophomore Ryan Hillery taking first place in 400m freestyle.
The girls swim and dive team placed second at the championship, while the girls 200m medley relay broke a school record.
Most swimmers will continue to regionals on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Princess Anne Recreation Center.
“We worked really hard all season to be undefeated,” said senior Devin Vensland, who placed second in three of his events and third in one of them. “It paid off in the end.”
