Chorus hosted “Open Mic Night” after school last week to showcase the talents of approximately 30 singers, dancers, and artists.

“This event gives students the opportunity to perform in front of a smaller crowd in a more relaxed, casual setting,” said senior Hailey Dauphin.”For people who are too scared to get up and sing on a stage, this is perfect.”

Acts ranged from singing, standup comedy, dancing, and instrument playing.

“I’ve always wanted to dance for others, so this event gave me a chance to do that,” said junior Gabby Serrano.
