Ocean Lakes’ Wind Symphony, more commonly known as advanced band, attained superior ratings during this year’s assessment held at Tallwood High School.
The Wind Symphony performed three pieces: Robert R. Bennett’s “Suite of Old American Dances,” Donald Grantham’s “Baron Cimetiere’s Mambo,” and Gustav Holst’s “March.”
“I think we did really well, much better than I had expected, and I was proud of our performance,” said junior and flute player Analise Gonzalez.
