Students Danni Ramdhan, Cody Green, and Brandy Flowers spend time in Makerspace to paint rocks. Intended to spread kindness, students use artistic materials to share inspiration with each other.

As a way to promote kindness around the school, the library held a rock painting station during One Lunch and study blocks where students were encouraged to paint encouraging or positive messages on a rock.

After the rocks are painted, students can choose to either keep it, or they hide it around the school for others to find.

“Just doing something that doesn’t take a lot of time makes you feel good,” said media specialist Nicole Glaser. “You don’t have to be artistically inclined.”
