Dolphin Dash races to benefit 99 for the 1
English teacher Jessica Scheible’s twin daughters, Lucy and Brianna, cross the finish line and head to gym for after race festivities.
Over 100 students, staff, and community members participated in the Dolphin Dash, held on May 18. Participants walked, ran, or volunteered to make the event a success.
According to Latin teacher Shirley Hall, 22 Dolphin Dash student crew students contacted businesses, publicized, and organized the annual race.
“We had 31 businesses who sponsored or donated for the race. At the end, we presented 99 for the 1 with $1, 257.30. In addition, we also gave $667.30 to Operation Smile from our Winter Carnival/Casholas,” said Hall.
