Sun rises on senior year with oceanfront shindig

To commemorate the start of their last school year, about 80 Ocean Lakes seniors gathered at the Oceanfront to watch the sunrise. At the Class of 2020 sponsored event, which took place last Friday, Aug. 30, seniors shared snacks, took pictures, and played beach-friendly games like spikeball.
“Senior sunrise was so fun and had a pretty good turnout,” said senior Faith Grant. “It really dawned on me that it is officially senior season.”
