Senior Shannon McLaughlin leaps on the balance beam in the gymnasium on Dec. 12.

Gymnastics won their second meet with a final score of 143.850. The girls remain undefeated as they beat both Kempsville and Bayside on Dec. 19.

“We hope to continue our winning streak, so we can win regionals and go to states again,” said senior gymnast Anna Harmon.

With 10 new gymnasts, the team has plenty of vigor and even performed at the most recent all-school assembly.

“The team spirit this year is amazing; everyone has already become so close,” said Anna. “We all root for one another and cheer each other on, which makes us perform better and stand out at meets.”
