Child teaches class about Ancient Greece during ‘Bring Your Kid to Work Day’
Abigail Boomer teaches 2B Virginia and US History class the OREO method.
Nine-year-old Abigail Boomer, daughter of history teacher Michael Boomer, created lessons every year for the past five years on the annual ‘Bring Your Kid to Work Day.’
These lessons varied anywhere from drawing a birthday cake to Ancient Greece, where she applied the OREO method of writing.
“I like coming here and leaving knowing that everyone learned something new that doesn’t have to do with the subject they are in,” said Abigail Boomer.
