Varsity baseball defeats number two ranked First Colonial
The baseball team jumps together in celebration of their win against First Colonial on April 17.
Varsity baseball defeats number two ranked First Colonial 5-4. During the game on April 17, pitcher and senior Danny Connolly, who already had two outs in the bottom of the seventh, hit a walk off home run. Before this win Ocean Lakes ranked sixth in Hampton Roads.
However, because First Colonial beat Ocean Lakes in the game on Thursday, April 19 with a walk off single, they now tie for first in the beach district. The team will play Landstown on its home turf on April 24 at 4 p.m.
